“They've stopped replying.”
What to say when a client goes quiet — and the day-by-day scripts that bring them back, or close it cleanly.
It's 11pm. They haven't replied. You're sitting there reading the email you sent four days ago, wondering if you sounded desperate, priced too high, said the wrong thing. You didn't. They're just busy. But you still need to know what to say next — and when.
The right move depends on the day count — days 1–3 you wait, day 4 is the sweet-spot nudge, day 7 is the slot-check that sounds polite but signals scarcity, day 14 is the graceful close-out that — counterintuitively — usually triggers a reply. When you close it, you become something they might lose.
